FAT GIRL
This old girl is always on
duty. Extremely talented at bringing you a stick and watching
you fetch. She is a habitual tick picker, but only for Chico.
She doesn't go far, but then she doesn't have to. She lets
Scooter be in charge, or so he thinks. This one is a jewel. |

SCOOTER
He is our big baby. Sadly, his mother was killed when he
was three days old so he became our bottle baby. He was so fat
that all he could do was scoot around. He has filled our life
with joy. He is head of security and assigns watch posts to
everyone else. |
| Needless to say, his favorite
place is the front porch. Where ever Tom goes, he goes with
him, whether it is to check cattle or go plow, he is a
faithful companion. Oh, I forgot to mention he is my secret
weapon with the horses. As long as he is with me, any horse
will approach and let you get to know them. |

| He is great with the babies.
When we have a new horse come to the barn, he stays by their
stall for a few days to make sure they are ok. He is so
calming. He was the first to come to the Ponderosa and holds
the head position of authority. |

DUKE
Give him a ride in a 'gator' , he will go
with you to the end. Then when you get there, he will get out
and round up whatever you want him to. He doesn't realize he
is the shortest one of all, but he really can open a line of
communication with all my babies in the fields. Look at him
laying down on the job! |

FAT
BOY
He is the baby... he is one of the exterior
protectors. Predators are his specialty. We have plenty -
anything from wild pigs, coyotes, dirt devils - after all, we
are in Tornado Alley. He has also been seen chasing leaves in
his spare time, or baby sitting the young kittens. He stays
out all night and likes to sleep as his hobby. What a man!! |

DOG-DOG
Not only part of the security staff, but is
a great hunter. He has approached us with the possibility of a
hunting lodge, even offering to be the guide... he always gets
his prey and works cheap. |
|
|
|
|
"PSYCHO"
He can leap tall
buildings in a single bounce or jump straight off the house
onto your hat if he thinks you don't belong. Yes, believe it
or not, an attack cat!! But he is so sweet.. we love him so
much.
